Payment Information for Ghanaian Students

Student fee payment is integral to the registration process. Students must, at least pay the minimum required, fees before they will be allowed to undertake the Academic registration.


Students must take note of the following when making payments:

  1. Only pay fees at Daniel Institute APPROVED BANKS (listed below).
  2. All deposits at the bank should be made with a FEE DEPOSIT SLIP.
  3. All deposits at the bank should be made with CASH ONLY.
  4. Always ensure the STUDENT INDEX NUMBER and NAMES are correctly quoted.
  5. Always ensure the AMOUNT quoted on the receipt is the correct amount paid.
  6. Ensure the account name is that of DANIEL INSTITUTE.
  7. Keep Payments by CHEQUE (NO PERSONAL CHEQUES) can be made at the Institute's Cash Office ONLY.


Student fees can be paid using any of the following mediums:

  1. At the bank
  2. Online using Visa card, Mastercard or Mobile Money (MTN and Vodafone)
  3. Cheques (payable only at Daniel Institute Cash Office)

Student Fees Description

A single, all-inclusive fee is charged to all students at the time of registration for each semester enrolled. This fee assessed to each enrolled student funds a portion of campus-wide services and infrastructure that support classroom education and community formation experience.

Tuition Fee Refund Policy 2021-23
This Tuition Fee Refund Policy applies to students who are in Full-time or Part-time attendance (including Distance Learners). If you are considering, or have decided to take leave of absence, withdraw entirely or transfer to another University, you will need to know how this will affect your tuition fees. This policy provides essential information on tuition fee refunds. You should also ensure you complete the Change of Status form, sign and submit to your department, promptly.

Students are required to pay all, or a portion, of their tuition and fees for any registered course unless enrollment is officially cancelled prior to the start of institute classes. If a student does cancel prior to the start of institute classes, 100% of tuition and fees will be refunded.

Withdrawal or cancellation occurs on the calendar day that the withdrawal is requested online or in person at the Accounts Office. The Institute provides a pro-rated refund for students withdrawing within the first four weeks of classes during the semester. Please see the table below for information regarding refunds.

All refunds are less any amounts owed to the institute.
Exceptions

Exceptions to the tuition and fees policy as stated above will be considered for extenuating circumstances. Students should fill out and submit an Extenuating Circumstances Tuition and fees Refund Request and provide documentation of the extenuating circumstance with the completed form to the Accounts Office. The Tuition Refund Review Committee will review the application and determine whether or not any additional refund will be made. The committee is comprised of representatives from the Accounts Office and Academic Affairs.
