The Advanced Certificate in Divinity program of Daniel Institute is designed to meet the increasing demand for effective professional Christian ministry training to produce reflective ministers for evangelical churches. The program is a three-year professional qualification that prepares students for licensing as pastors in the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).
The program will provide students with relevant training and the skills necessary to analyze ministry practices through sustained biblical, ecclesiological, and theological reflection and to discern, shape, and disseminate new practices in service of the gospel.
The Advanced Certificate in Divinity program includes the study of religious texts and languages, doctrine, worship practice, Christian ethics, engagement with world religions and practical ministerial skills. Though the Advanced Certificate in Divinity is preparation for ministry, it is also a preparation for further education in religious studies.
The Advanced Certificate in Divinity curriculum is designed to provide students with the spiritual formation, biblical knowledge, and skills required to become a committed minister of the gospel of Christ.
The Advanced Certificate in Divinity program requires 62 credit hours and is usually completed in at least two and a maximum of four years.

Academic entry requirements vary from program to program and are advertised on the University website and in other media. The University ensures that entry requirements conform to standards set by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and various regulatory and professional bodies. The University’s admission requirements are as follows:
Admission through Mature Students’ Entrance Examination. The candidate must be at least 25 by 31st December of the year preceding the examination. A certified copy of the birth certificate is required. The date of issue of the birth certificate should not be less than five years from the date of the completion of the admission forms. Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations consist of a General Paper for all candidates and two papers in the area(s) of specialization desired.

Duration
This Advanced Certificate in Divinity program lasts three (3) years. It provides students two years (four semesters) of classroom work plus one year of Ministerial Internship.
